It's almost a bit of an embarassment that Japanese manufacturers produce better western prototype sets than American and European ones can produce for their own countries.

Kato in particular makes a number of model railroad items that are some of the very best in the world.

Yes, I can obtain any or all of these for you. Occasionally these sell on eBay as well. Check my eBay auctions first and contact me if you can't find what you want. Please note however, that I do not generally deal in Kato USA trains such as smoothside passenger cars, SD and AC locos and so forth as those come from Kato USA, while most of what I deal with comes from Japan. Additionally, I have no particular knowledge of USA items.

Arguably one of the best N-gauge sets ever made, the Eurostar has it all. The main set is an 8-car set with a super-smooth flywheel drive, reversible lighting, and an absolutely outstanding paint job. If you've ever seen a Hornby Eurostar, that does not come close - and that's in a larger scale! I have sold more Kato Eurostars than anybody else - I specialize in them.

Please note that the 4-car add-on set (10-328) is well out of production. Yes, I can obtain this highly rare item for you! With my team in Japan, we will find the add-on set you need.

One of the newest of Kato's western offerings, this 10-car set is quite unique. Kato packages this in a special large box complete with a length of Kato's Unitrack modular N-gauge track. Yes, I can get these for you. I humbly suggest that if you are interested in this train, you do not wait too much longer since while they are available now (and I have them at the UK's best price), they will start disappearing soon and the price will start to climb and/or your selection will be limited to pre-owned models.

This is the classic TGV! If you've seen Lima's TGV and you've seen this one, you know there is no comparison. Kato's TGV is better in every way: running qualities and looks of course being at the top of the list. Kato produces this in a 6-car set and a 4-car add-on set. Note that Kato released this in two different types of packaging - once in an older-style cardboard and foam case (which is actually better than it sounds) and once in the modern Kato padded folio cases. The trains inside are identical. The ones in the folio cases tend to be a bit more expensive.

This is a great looking TGV. It is also out of production and incredibly hard to find, but I can get you one! This is a 6-car set in the Blue Silver TGV La Ligne de Coeur colours. A superb model by any standard.

Please note: Unlike for the Orange TGV PSE sets, no add-on set for this was ever produced

This tram, available both in N and HO (pictured at left) is a great exemplar of a typical European tram. It can be run as-is, or many people detail them to their liking. The N-gauge tram is particularly economical and of course I sell it for the lowest price in the UK. These tend to sell out fast, so if you see one on my eBay listings, I encourage you to not pass them by. If you'd like me to reserve one for you, I can also do this.
